Alina’s story, the one with little clouds, started from a natural personal tendency towards dreaming, game and play. And, she thinks, from the desire to give to others and to be creative.
So far, almost all items have been created for a certain individual, almost all have been offered as a gift. Inspiration comes from inside her and from the people around her. It sometimes starts with a sound or a color, a song or with some lines in a book. Besides, she follows the creative community; she attends handmade fairs, as well as many beautiful and talented people from websites such as Pinterest, Etsy or Breslo.
In fact, her first little cloud was actually a girl-cloud, with a little bow and legs. She gave it to someone dear to her heart. Later, she heard the little cloud got a name and inspired stories.
In general, she creates accessories, toys or felt decorations, because she likes them and because she finds them relaxing. Most of them are given as a gift to her friends or to her CGS team. On March 1st, she made sure all the girls received a #noringluga trinket, and for Christmas, the entire team got fuzzy and colorful decorations.
She doesn’t have a favorite character. She enjoys almost everything she makes, be it small clouds, elves or robots. Usually, she manages to make them exactly as she imagined, but sometimes she improvises and creates something new, reinterpreted.
This hobby relaxes her quite a lot and, if she manages to bring a smile on someone’s face, her heart gets filled with sunshine and happiness.
Alina has been working at CGS Romania since 2009 and she likes her team very much, since, according to her, ‘we are united, beautiful and intelligent’. She considers that one of the most important aspects of a successful career is to be surrounded by the right people.
And, with respect to how she combines her activities, she says they complement each other. She uses her creativity, patience, overview in both and, at the same time, she faces challenges in both.
However, her passions do not stop here, since she cannot imagine a life without dance, music, literature, trekking or travel.
