The beginning of 2014 was good, but difficult: we gained new customers (projects) – which is good, but we also had to make massive hiring… which is not easy, considering the skills required as a consequence of the fact the CGS provides outsourcing solutions in 18 foreign languages!
Most employment opportunities were represented by newly created jobs, to which the positions vacated by colleagues who promoted or focused on other fields were added.
Of the 250 jobs put out in the first month of the year, 150 were for our support center in Sibiu, and almost 100 for that in Braşov.
Most of the jobs were in Romanian (Customer Relations Consultant) or English. Other foreign languages required for those jobs were French, Italian, Spanish, German or Dutch, the positions being Customer Care, Customer Support or Technical Support.
In Romania we are almost 3,000 employees and more than 75 per cent of us are under 25 years of age. Approximately 95 per cent of our colleagues at CGS are graduates or students of upper education institutions; most of us speak 2 or 3 foreign languages, some even 5 foreign language!
