What are we looking for? 500 new colleagues, fluent in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch or Hungarian languages, talented and ready to lay the foundations of a solid career in a dynamic and competitive field. Among the jobs made available, there are newly created jobs, and also positions vacated because their previous holders were promoted or focused on other fields.
The majority of the 500 jobs offered are for the call centers in Bucharest and Braşov, and also for Sibiu and Târgu-Jiu. Bucharest candidates must have advanced knowledge of English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch languages and, in case of specific projects, additionally they must have experience in financial or IT technical fields.
In Braşov, the most demanded foreign languages are English, Hungarian, French, German, Spanish and Italian, while in Sibiu and Târgu-Jiu, we are looking for people fluent in English, German or French. In these two centers, however, we also make available jobs that do not necessarily entail advanced knowledge of a foreign language, and which allow you to choose flexible work hours of 4, 6 or 8 hours, depending on your option.
Are you curious to find how the recruiting process will go? We don’t hide from you the fact that the selection is going to be rigorous. After reviewing the resumes received at the Human Resources Department, candidates will be selected for the first interview, which will include tests for assessing the level of proficiency in the foreign language required for each position, considering that the personnel must be fluent in the language specific to the position which they work on; in case of certain positions, the first interview may also include testing the technical knowledge. Although our selection criteria are strict, we are certain that there are well-trained individuals in Romania, and we only need to find them!
Those selected after the first round will then pass onto the next, where customer communication skills, the ability to answer their requests, negotiation skills, technical knowledge, etc. – as the case may be for each position, will be assessed.
What should you expect after employment? During the first month after employment, you will benefit of training sessions, which will help you understand and subsequently carry out your activity in the company. Moreover, in each of our offices, you will be greeted by open colleagues, for whom our motto “Friends working together!” is not just an empty slogan and who will help you integrate the CGS team as quickly as possible.
CGS has almost 3,000 employees in Romania, and over 75 per cent of them have an average age of 25. Approximately 95 per cent of CGS employees are graduates or students of upper education institutions, most of them speaking two – three – some up to five foreign languages.
What we offer? In accordance with this industry’s practices, the salary gain depends first of all on the language in which each employee carries out his/her activity, and also on the set of skills required (technical, negotiation, etc.), so that in the first year of activity, the total monthly income (salary, meal tickets, bonuses, etc.) varies, in general, from the national average gross income to over 1,500 Euro gross.
More important, however, is the fact that CGS Romania offers you real opportunities for advancement within the company, if you really want this. You should know that 90 per cent of our management team is formed of employees who were promoted from within the company, after having proved they possess the abilities required for a position as team leader, quality assurance, project manager, trainer, recruiter or level 2 technical support, etc.
