Romanian Spirit

Because we find happiness in the small things, we transform each inspiring occasion into a celebration. Fashion Week, Halloween or Thanksgiving gave us the opportunity to have fun, while testing our imagination by creating the most fashionable outfits, scariest costumes and glorious turkeys. Because CGS Romania team is, among others, a multicultural community, our events calendar is, perhaps, busier than other company’s.

For 1st of December, however, we always chose to party the Romanian style, even if the Romanian tongue sometimes mixes with other 18 foreign languages in which we carry out our activity here, at CGS Romania. This year, one of our Brașov teams put together a contest that aimed at awakening the Romanian spirit in each team member and thus, promoting national values.

In order to amplify the holyday spirit, our colleagues in Brașov inserted Romanian traditional items in work space décor and raised the challenge of transforming the national costume into a holyday outfit.

Therefore, the National Day of Romania, Romanian gals and boys stepped into the set at the office in Brașov and feasted their eyes with their authentic outfits. It seemed that that each one of them stepped out from a Romanian folk tale and this made significantly difficult for us to chosoe the best costume. Therefore, we organized a raffle to determine the winners of the prizes – 3 IPOD NANO 7th Generation – 16GB.

Mantoiu Valentin, Miron Ruxandra and Mailat Sorana are now the happy owners of the three gadgets and we hope they will listen, every once in a while, also from the Romanian folk music, to keep alive the authentic spirit with which they impressed us this 1st of December.
