Summer is over, but we keep having fun We like to get involved in as many activities as possible outside the office and, this time, we call you for a swim! In fact, not you, but your representatives – do you remember the cute ducklings of last year? They returned to Bucharest. They want to be adopted and they need us to help them swim for a noble cause!
Following the 2015 ‘Rotaract Triumph’ Race, we have managed to contribute in helping 5 hearing-impaired children with high-performance hearing instruments and in giving them a new chance. So, we also support ‘Rotaract Triumph’ in 2016, so that together with you, we can help other children 🙂
Social responsibility is an important pillar in the development of our company, and CGS Romania is trying, as always, to join the community in which it activates by supporting initiatives and projects that can increase and improve the lives of the people they interact with. On September 10th, we will participate as a sponsor at the Duckling Race held by Rotaract Triumph. It will be the funniest competition of the year. The goal is to purchase hearing aids for hearing-impaired children who still have the chance to enjoy sounds, to integrate into society and to have a normal life.
Do you want to participate in the Duckling Race? Here’s what you have to do: access www.cursaderatuste.ro and adopt one duckling (or more than one) for the symbolic amount of RON 10. Our colleagues have already started adopting. You can do that too! If you are our colleague, for every duckling you adopt, we will adopt another one. This way, we double our chances to win the race and we collect more money for the kids. Check your e-mail to find out how! And that’s not all, the winning ducklings will receive a lot of awards form the sponsors!
Saturday, September 10th, we will get together to cheer for the ducklings. You are invited on Haşdeu Bridge, near Izvor Park, at 1:00 P.M., to see the 50 giant ducklings of the sponsors, who will precede the big race.
