Wall Street: What foreign languages are the most profitable in Romania

What are the differences between the workforce from Bucharest, Sibiu, Brașov, Galati, Miercurea Ciuc and Targu Jiu? What foreign languages would be most useful for children to learn and what salaries earn those studying German or nordic languages? Vladimir Sterescu, Country Manager with Computer Generated Solutions Romania (CGS), one of the largest company in the domain, answered these questions and talked about innovative business perspectives.

Brasov and Sibiu were the first stages of CGS outside Bucharest, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. Now, they might seem two regions where the expansion of a support and outsourcing centre would be logical, but, during that period, it was a bold move. `We were interested in German speakers, we inferred that German speaking countries would cope better with the recession and we were right`says Vladimir Sterescu.
