As we were telling you here, in October we launched, together with AHAVA Association and General Directorate of Social Care and Child Protection, the project “Learning Through Play”. The first action in this project took place at “Licurici” Daycare Center, a preschool educational unit in Sector 3 of the Capital and consisted of providing support to the administration of the center, to ensure the necessary comfort to the children attending this kindergarten.
Now, in the month of presents, we return to “Licurici” Daycare Center, this time in capacity of Santa’s helpers. Together with Santa, we handed presents to children and together with them we enjoyed the spirit of winter holydays.
Accompanying CGS Romania’s team was Chef Adrian Hădean, who came prepared to cook for children relishes specific to this time of the year. To everyone’s surprise, the children wanted to give many little helping hands to the Chef. Their enthusiasm and skillfulness filled us with joy and proved to us that our initiatives matter and make the difference, by the joy they bring to the faces of the children in the educational units we support.
The project “Learning Through Play” is in its beginnings. However, considering that the first two actions were a smashing success, we intend that during 2015 we continue to contribute to modernizing the Romanian education, in all its aspects.
