As we were announcing here, during the weekend of 23rd to 25th of January, CGS Romania’s team formed of almost 130 employees competed against other almost 800 corporatists for Winter Corporate Games trophies and for the opportunity to represent Romania at the World Corporate Games that are going to take place in November, in Mexico City.
CGS Romania’s team was enlisted in all 9 events (parallel slalom skiing, super G skiing, snowboard, rifle shooting, snow volleyball, bowling, billiards, table tennis and court tennis) and won the gold medal (Lucia Ursu) and bronze medal (Torok Orsolya) in parallel slalom skiing event, silver medal (Vali Malau) and bronze medal (Dorin Chioariu) at billiards single and silver medal (Dumitru Novac) in rifle shooting event, and also the Trophy for Division 6 (101-150 athletes), on which it was. Some of those who were placed in top 10 of the events, were:
Mioara Antonie (7th place) – Snowboard;
Radu Bustiuc (7th place) – Snowboard;
Denisa Apostiu (4th place) – Tennis;
Attila Kurta (5th place) – Bowling Single;
Bedo Bela (7th place) – Bowling Single;
Bedo Bela & Attila Kurta (7th place) – Bowling Doubles.
By winning these prizes, CGS Romania’s team continues the race for the opportunity to represent Romania at the World Corporate Games, as it qualified for Corporate Games summer edition, which is going to take place in June this year, in Bucharest.
The prize-awarding festivities took place at the registration center, hosted by Kronwell Hotel in Brașov, and trophies were presented to winners by Vladimir Sterescu – Country Manager, Computer Generated Solutions Romania. This year, CGS Romania was not just a participant in this competition, but also a platinum partner of this event.
